Chaplain Renee Godoy founded Friends of First Responders in April 2021.  She has served as Chaplain to the Hawaii County Police Department since 2007 and Fire Department since 2015.  As Chaplain she has walked with them through many tough situations. Through those experiences she became aware of the difficult issues they face and the toll it takes on the first responders health and relationships.
